Market activity is composed of short-term traders buying and selling forex pairs in less than 30 minutes. It is also known as the Foreign Exchange market.

The majors consist of the eight currencies most often traded: U.S. dollar (USD), Canadian dollar (CAD), euro (EUR), British pound (GBP), Swiss franc (CHF), New Zealand dollar (NZD), Australian dollar (AUD) and Japanese yen (JPY). Minor pairs are the seven currencies listed above, excluding the US Dollar.
